A welcoming, warm atmosphere with delicious, fresh food and generous pours of good wine. So happy we found it!
Food was amazing! Authentic Italian. Staff was very attentive.
This is a great authentic Italian restaurant. Food this is the second time we've been there is absolutely amazing cooked to perfection. Wait staff very good awesome presentation of meals can't wait to go back.
First time eating here and will definetly come back! The bread was flavorful, hot, fresh out of the oven. Our dinners and dessert were beyond our expectations. The waitstaff was attentive and excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food and the best service! We always feel like family when we eat at Toscana.
Great food and good house wines too! The food is freshly prepared and tasty, and fit for foodies. And some of the best bread anywhere! Prices are quite reasonable for the quality. We look forward to visiting every time we come back to Cooperstown. The only negatives here are that they cram lots of tables in, so you're quite close to your neighbor. As a result it's a fairly noisy place
A gem in Cooperstown. We had the chicken dumplings, the duck special and lobster risotto. I usually don't eat duck but this was amazing! Crispy on the outside and still, not dry on the inside. Just the best duck I've ever had! I recommend this place for a delicious and quiet dinner. The music was nice and low for an easy conversation in a beautiful yet cozy atmosphere. Service was also prompt, professional and helpful. A must visit.
Great meal at a great price. Good service too. Thanks Tony
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow but overall a very positive experience.
Amazing food, soup was absolutely delicious... Angel hair pasta with sauce to die for.. waitress was fabulous..owner was so nice..you will not be disappointed...
Great little restaurant. Went here for my three year anniversary with my boyfriend. Awesome food and friendly staff. The Ravioli with vodka sauce is a must try.
Small place with nice atmosphere. Casual to dressy attire. The chicken. Parmesan with penne was delicious and we shared a plate and that was plenty!
Excellent ambience with food to match. Best food in Cooperstown for dinner!
Excellent service, warm atmosphere and ambiance, fantastic Italian cuisine.
Incredible dinner selections. Super service! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and on top of things on a very busy weekend. The main dishes came out in the perfect amount of time after the appetizer. The best Italian I've had in a loooong time. Cooperstown biggest secret.
Great service and the food was fabulous!
Absolutely amazing place to enjoy fine food!! Five stars +. The owner/host Absolutely appreciates your patronage. No better place to enjoy an intimate atmosphere or exceptional meal!! PERFECT!!!!
Little pricey but food was great. Can’t miss if you are downtown
High quality northern Italian food with personal service. Small cozy restaurant. Very friendly owner and attentive wait staff. The food was delicious.
We have been there no fewer than ten times, we drive 45 minutes to eat there several times a year. The food is always perfection! The Eggplant Parmesan and Pasta Armatriciana are our two favorites, the Caesar salad with the fried egg on top is equally delicious! The owner Tony, is always present, very friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant!
Over-rated. Prices are quite steep, not much room in the restaurant. You feel cramped like sardines in there. Food is good, but nothing to really to get crazy about. Dessert was the best part.
We went after going to the baseball hall of fame. Got sat right away and the food was wonderful. Good service and you could make changes to menu items for what you wanted. I definitely recommend it!
Our waitress was friendly and attentive, however, the bill left us with sticker shock. The veal chop special was $39. I should have asked how much the specials were but who does that? I was shocked that both the special appetizer and special entree were more than the most expensive in each section on the menu. My rack of lamb was terribly over seasoned. The dry rub was overwhelmingly potent and made it nearly inedible. This was the first and only rack of lamb I didn't like ($32) The kids' pasta with butter or marinara is $10 (eeek!) -- for literally a cup of pasta. That, too, was not on the menu. The one dessert that we ordered to take home was forgotten from our leftover bag but still charged $8 on the bill. Unfortunately we didn't realize until we got home (more than an hour away). For a group of 3 adults and 4 kids our bill came to $263 before tip. I've spent much less and enjoyed far more.
My husband, two friends, and I went here last night for dinner. Everything was amazing! We look forward to going here every year for dinner when we come to Cooperstown. The four of us ordered: calamari & meatball appetizer, the Osso Buco (2), Clams Pasta and Greek salad with Chicken. Everything from the food, service, wine, and ambiance was amazing. We look forward to coming back next year.
Amazing place! Make reservation for sure on weekends it can get busy but totally worth it!!!
I was totally surprised in finding this small store front restaurant. The food was amazingly good. I had the Shrimp Scampi - pasta cooked perfectly - very garlicky and great tasting. Daughter had chicken francese over garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli - she could barely finish it. The waiters and waitresses were outstanding - kind of service you would find in NYC. The place is looks like it belongs in the city. Don't let the storefront fool you - its amazin.
Outstanding cuisine; excellent service. While we do not live in Cooperstown, would go out of my way to dine there again.
Great food and atmosphere
Wonderful and delicious food. Great service and very friendly owner!
Absolutely delicious! Everything cooked to perfection with a fabulous waitress to boot. Highly recommended.
Place was great food was amazing
We finally got a chance to eat there last night and it was even better then advertised! The food was outstanding and our sever, Gigi, could not have been more helpful and delightful! A wonderful experience from beginning to end. We will be regulars.
Always great food and service!
Five stars strictly for the food which was excellent but the service could have been better. Waitress never checked on us. It took a long time to get our food without explanation.
We had an excellent meal and service at Toscana. We did not leave hungry! Would highly recommend. The atmosphere is great too!
Great food and great service!
We came to Cooperstown yesterday for the baseball museum, naturally, and decided to eat dinner at Toscana’s since it was conveniently close and had good reviews. They did not disappoint!! It was a very slow Sunday night and our waitress catered to our every need; not to mention she was very knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered Pesce di Mare (trying to recall the correct name) but it was linguine with shrimp, calamari, scallops, and a half lobster tail. Because I like spicy food the waitress recommended a Fra Diavolo sauce... and it was amazing!!! My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Parmagiana and he said it was the one of the best he’s ever had. The portions are extremely generous (I am writing this review after finishing the leftovers for breakfast!) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in town for a visit. Truly delicious Italian cuisine.
Very pricey for very average Italian food (with tips, a small salad, entree, and cup of tea came to around $40 per person for dinner). Service is good though. Small space, slightly cramped and dark at night. I find the food at Bocca Osteria to be better and more affordable. Salmon was a bit over cooked and bland, the white sauce was too salty, the pasta with seafood and red sauce was okay but nothing special.
GiGi was Awesome! Wonderful Service! Connected to us quickly making our dining experience more like a visit with family!
I expected more after reading all the reviews.Great service but food was ok: the fresh tomato, basil and parmesan shavings bruschetta arrived cold, the bread soggy, barely any basil and drizzled with balsamic, that totally kills this simple appetizzer and not listed in the ingredients.Pasta dishes were fine
Excellent service along with very good food.
I've never had a bad meal here. The sauce for my veal chop tonight was superb. Food is delicious and plentiful. And your glass of wine is never empty. Friendly staff, owner and homey atmosphere. When in Cooperstown, this is the place to eat
Food and service was great!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Toscana. Our waitress Tiffany was super friendly and very attentive. Made us feel like we were her only table even though she was very busy. The food was delicious and the amount of specials to choose from was outstanding. The seafood is great.
What can I say other than, fantastic! Every dish, every sauce and the wine for all excellent. Unless you have a very big appetite I highly suggest you order their on tree and split it with your partner. The chicken parmesan was enough for three people, let alone two. We couldn't even fini sh that. The side of pasta that came with meal was requested to have a bolognese sauce added. Well, I have never seen such a dark brown bolognese sauce. It had the appearance of beef bourguignon. Very very good flavor, taste and appearance. Very unique in my opinion. I wish I could get it someplace where I live. Reservations are a must 7 days a week. The restaurant is excellent, boisterouse and fun. And the owner is a great host who looks around refilling your wine glasses at no extra charge. You must go and try everything on their menu. You'll NOT be disappointed. Extremely high recommendation for this marvelous Italian restaurant.
Always delicious and we had the duck and halibut. They never miss here. We come whenever we are in Cooperstown. Not a bad dish on the menu. Great wine and fine service. Thank you for a wonderful meal Toscana!
Incredible restaurant, great atmosphere and good prices for fine dining
Good food, more than I could eat
The spaghetti is cooked perfectly I like the cream sauce as an alternative to a common red sauce. The Chicken Parmesean was cooked very good with a nice portion size.
Food was excellent. I had the ravioli special which was stuffed with broccoli rabe and sausage in a sauce. Excellent. They were very busy. Think they could of used another server
